Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Lucky Clover met on Dec. 10. Before the meeting started we decorated the Senior Center.
The meeting was called to order by Jaydeen and he had some older members talk about club history and what the Pledge means. We made sure everybody got their letters sent out to Veterans.
We made Christmas tree ornaments for the 4-H tree at the courthouse and made a 4-H float for the Parade of Lights on Dec. 2.
Our club decided to have a Valentine’s Day party at the Nashua roller skating rink on Feb. 11, 2024. We plan to do a meal fundraiser for one of the Nashua basketball games. We did a gift exchange and played a game that involved trying to get the most cotton balls on the tray with a spatula while blind folded. I ended up winning the game!!!
There will be a 4-H Council Meeting Monday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m., to discuss project books.
Winter Fun Days will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m., A QA starts at 9 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church.
Thank you to Galen & Karla Zerbe, and Dorothy Kolstad for making donations to the Valley Co. 4-H.
