Initiation Ceremony Dec. 10
The Student Council at Glasgow High School is sponsoring their annual Remembrance Tree program to remember loved ones that have passed on. A tree filled with lights to commemorate these loved ones will be on display throughout the holiday season in front of the Pioneer Museum. To include your loved ones, contact any High School Student Council member or reach out to us through our new Facebook page by searching “GHS Student Council” and a member will be in contact with you shortly.
A lighting ceremony for the Remembrance Tree is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 10, 4 p.m., at the Pioneer Museum. The tree will be lit daily from then until Dec. 31. The community is invited to attend the initiation ceremony at the museum. Refreshments will be served.
Proceeds from the Remembrance Tree will be donated to the Special Olympics. Through your generosity, over $32,000 has been donated through the Remembrance Tree Program in the past 24 years.
