Mrs. Annette Boyer's first grade class learned about the art of making pumpkin pie and put those skills into practice before school let out for the Thanksgiving break.
The students had the opportunity to make their own individual pies to bring home for the Thanksgiving holiday as well as a class pie with homemade whipped cream to allow each student to taste.
Making pumpkin pies in Mrs. Boyer's room has been a yearly tradition for her first graders, with a few year pause as a result of COVID.
