Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints would like to invite all who would like to share in celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with the annual nativity Open House Sunday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 7 p.m.
There will also be musical entertainment during the Open House.
From 6 to 7 p.m. there will be a live Christmas Devotional broadcast from Salt Lake City featuring the Tabernacle Choir for those who like to stay and listen.
The display of Nativities was first presented in 2015 with community members willing to share their Nativities for the public to enjoy. While we expect to see some new ones, be assured some of the favorites from past displays will also be there. Some sets and ornaments are from Europe, Israel, South Africa, South America and beautiful hand painted ones from right here in Glasgow. They come in a variety of sizes, colors and numbers of figures as well. Some have been heirlooms in families and hold special memories.
Anyone who might have one he or she would like to offer for the temporary display is encouraged to participate. We will be setting them up the morning of Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Or if you like, contact Shelley Romo, 406-228-4271; Blaine White 406-228-8361 or 801-885-7362 to make arrangements for them to be picked up.
The Open House will be held at the Chapel from 3 to 7 p.m., Dec. 3, at 15 Airport Road.
