Bantam Ice Dawgs Start Season Off With Tourney In Sidney

The Glasgow Bantams started off this season with 13 players for the annual Damon McLaughlin Tournament in Sidney. With only six practices under their belt, the players faced some strong competition against teams from North Dakota, Saskatchewan and Montana.

Though the team didn’t bring home any wins in the four games played throughout the weekend’s tournament, there was still a success story. Liam Allen scored his first ever goal while in the program.

“This young Bantam team will continue to build form this weekend and be ready for first MAHA games in December. Lots of good players and skills will make for an exciting season,” reflected Head Coach Landon Holte.

With more practices under their belt, the Glasgow Bantams are scheduled to play at home against Billings on Friday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m., with another match-up scheduled Saturday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. Both games will be played at the Valley Event Center.
