Glasgow Stockyards Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of Nov. 2 show 4,333 cattle sold with a very active market on all classes of cattle. There was lots of buyer participation.

Cows and bulls are steady and feeder cattle is selling strong on first test of the fall run.

Utility and commercial cows brought in $92 to $102; canner and cutter cows $83 to $90; and bulls $100 to $113.50.

Young Feeding/turnout cows brought in $104 to $171; 300-400 SC $349 to $392 HC $285 to $311; 400-500 SC $307 to $353 HC $270 to $313; 500-600 SC $288 to $310.50 HC $237 to $280; 600-700 SC $254 to $271.50.
