Verna Penner

On Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, Verna Lee Penner passed away and returned to our Heavenly Father. She was a devoted wife to Herbert Victor Penner, who she married Jan. 19, 1974.

She was a loving mother to her children, Jerie Lynn Keil (William) and Ronald Harry Sachs.

Verna Lee Penner was born Verna Lee Davis on Oct. 12, 1933, in Bandon, Coos, Ore. Her parents were Emmett Luther Davis and Annie Pearly (Lessley) Davis.

Verna was a woman of faith who knew God lived and that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. She was fun-loving and through the years enjoyed reading, needlework and music. Verna will be remembered and missed greatly by her family and friends.

Graveside services are set for 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow.

A luncheon will follow at the Glasgow Evangelical Church at 11:30 a.m.
