Opheim School held their fall concert on Oct. 16 in the school's gymnasium where students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade showed family, friends and the community what they have been working on in music, choir and band class since school began.
The pre-kindergarten through second grade students sang "Whacky Do Re Mi," "I'm a Little Teapot," "Baby Dinosaur," and "I Love America."
Third through fifth graders sang "How Do You Tell A Veteran Thank You?," "I Like The Colors Of The Fall," and "Bright Happy Day."
Third graders Hayden Stenglein, Elliot Nelson and Kyra Landles showed off their recorder skills by playing songs, "Hot Cross Buns," "Mary Had A Little Lamb," "Bad News Bears," and "BA Black Belt."
Fourth and fifth grade beginning band played "Rolling Along," "The Half Counts," and "Hot Cross Buns."
The seventh through 12th grade choir sang, "America the Beautiful," "Breakaway," "Fly," and "Why We Sing."
The seventh through 12th grade band played "When the Saints Go Marching In," "March from Scipio," "God Bless America," "My Country Tis of Thee," and "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
