James 'Jim' Chaffee

Jim was born in Glasgow, Mont., and attended the Glasgow Schools.

He was the son of Kenneth Chaffee and Katherine Beck Chaffee Jankus.

Jim was born July 10, 1938, in Glasgow. He moved to Las Vegas, Nev., in the early 60s. Jim loved classic cars and owned several over the years. He was a great handyman and always ready to help friends or family that might need it.

He loved to travel and saw many countries such as Israel, Russia and Australia to name a few. He was truly the example of never meeting a stranger.

Jim passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, after a three-year valiant struggle with lung cancer. He leaves his wife, Deanne, of nearly 30 years, and many relatives and friends.

His memorial service will be held at Mountain View Presbyterian Church the 21st of October at 11 a.m., 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Las Vegas NV 89134.
