Valley County Well Represented in MHSRA Rodeo

The Valley County Fairgrounds saw two full days of rodeo action as the Glasgow Rodeo Committee hosted the Montana High School Rodeo Association's High School Rodeo on Saturday and Sunday. Athletes from around the state competed in a number of events from Pee Wee action to High School for a chance at a coveted championship belt buckle.

Bailey Billingsley won the all around girls buckle in the YRA and Jr. High competition. She took second place in goat tying, team roping and ribbon roping. Blaire Billingsley took first place in ribbon roping in the same age group.

Four Valley County residents earned first places at the High School level. Brooke Billingsley won the pole bending event while Ty Westby took the top slot in team roping. Charlie Cornwell won tie down and Tatum Hansen was the winner of the steer wrestling event.

Full results from the two-day event can be found at the MHSRA website.
