After a month of fundraising for Glasgow Fire and Long Run Fire in Valley County, Bank of Glasgow presented the funds to the two different entities on Sept. 15. Due to community support by placing money in boots located in the bank's lobby and purchasing lemonades from local children at the lemonade stand in front of the bank, a total of $2,166 was raised.
"Every penny helps," stated Brunelle upon receiving the funds. "It was really cool that the kids got involved," exclaimed Bryan.
Though the funds haven't been specifically delegated as of press time, both Bryan and Bruenelle stated it would be applied for updated equipment for the firefighters.
