The Frazer boys cross country team strode to a third place finish at the Scobey Invitational Sept. 8., placing two runners in the top 10. The Bearcubs scored 26 points with a team total clock time of 1:04:11.54.
Jarvis Goodbird took second at the meet while Gabe Beston hit a personal record to place eighth out of 36 runners. Goodbird ran a 19:26.12 while Beston finished the course at Pioneer Town in 20:28.69.
Cassius Smoker placed 25th at 24:16.73. Travis Long and Christopher Fox also set personal bests in Scobey. Long ran the race in 25:16.23 for 28th place while Fox took 33rd at 25:47.58. Joseph Beston ran the course in 29:41.62 to finish in 36th place.
Isabelle Even and Shakira Beston competed for the Frazer girls. Even placed 21st out of 34 runners with a time of 30:11.31 while S. Beston ran a 31:23.68 for 23rd place.

The Bearcubs attended the Circle HS/MS Cross Country Meet Sept. 12 but results were unavailable at press time.
Frazer travels for the Baker Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 16. The boys varsity race is scheduled for 11 a.m. followed by the varsity girls at 11:40 a.m. at the Lakeview Country Club Golf Course.
