Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Marketing Specialist and Public Relations of Nemont Gregg Hunter presented the Glasgow City-County Library a check in the amount of $5,400 on Aug. 24.
During the Fair season, Nemont had a booth at each of the county fairgrounds which allowed customers to purchase new phones. For each phone sold at the event, $100 was provided to that County's library.
In addition to the Glasgow City-County Library, Nemont donated $4,800 to the Daniels County Library, $5,800 to the Sheridan County Library and $2,400 to the Roosevelt County Library. "These funds will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the services and programs they offer to their patrons," stated Nemont in a statement outlining the donation details.
"Last year we donated funds back to the Fair themselves, and this year we wanted to spread the donation further into the community so we decided on donating to the libraries," explained Nemont PR & Marketing Specialist Gregg Hunter. Though next year's cause is yet to be determined, Hunter stressed they will continue to give back to the communities they serve.
"We are very appreciative of this donation!," stated Glasgow City-County Library Director Megan Haddix upon receiving the check from Hunter.
