For the week of July 24 to July 30 there were 20 motor vehicle stops, three reports of loose dogs, one report of loose livestock and one parking violation.

For the week of July 31 to Aug. 6 there were 21 motor vehicle stops, three reports of loose dogs and one report of loose livestock.

Wednesday, July 26

1112 – Caller reported that she got a scam call from Amazon stating that she had purchased $,1537.35 of merchandise from them. She told them there was no such purchase and hung up.

1354 – Caller reported a scam call from Publishers Clearing House. They wanted to know if the caller would be home that day so they can drop off their winnings. Caller stated that they weren't put in any contest and didn't win anything. The scam caller stated that they entered by paying their utility bill on time. Caller hung up.

1712 – Caller reported that they backed into someone at the Durum. There were no injuries.

1749 – Caller was inquiring about a locksmith. There was a dog locked in a car and was wondering how to get it out.

2019 – Caller reported smelling gas near her front windows. She wanted to know who to call and stated that it did not smell like natural gas.

Thursday, July 27

0703 – Caller reported seeing smoke and a fire on the river bank. It was a campfire and was put out, the people who were burning were told not to burn there.

1828 – Caller reported a gas drive off.

1920 – Caller stated that she called the PD this morning. She told them that she would try to get her vehicle moved this weekend and requested that it would not be towed. The car was towed and was at Glen's Auto Yard.

2223 – Caller stated that there is a “fall down” alarm going off in room 113. There is no one living in that room.

Friday, July 28

0827 – Caller reported that there was a scam call from Publishers Clearing House. The scam caller stated that they won $750,000 and would need to send $500 to them in order to confirm their winnings.

0952 – Caller reported a gas drive off.

1159 – Reporting party came into the dispatch office to report her medication getting stolen the night before. She thinks that one of her coworkers stole the meds.

1620 – A car accident was reported. It was a single person crash. The patient was out of the vehicle, but they were not ejected.

1640 – Caller reported a male with alcohol in his vehicle at the archery range.

2049 – A recorded message was sent stating that the owner of the phone was in a severe car wreck and was unresponsive. The phone was dropped out of the owner's vehicle and he didn't notice. The owner is okay.

2100 – Caller reported a suspicious person with a duffel bag and a baseball bat near the fairgrounds.

2107 – Caller reported a possible drunk driver getting out of their vehicle.

Saturday, July 29

1630 – ER staff reported a dog bite victim.

2030 – Caller reported that there is something in the trees near her residence. Her dogs are barking at it and she thinks it's a porcupine. Fish and Game was contacted.

Monday, July 31

1007 – Northwestern Energy reported a downed power line. The line was lying across a street, though it was unknown if it was sparking.

1046 – Caller reported that her roommate was moving out and she wanted police there to make sure she didn't steal anything. The roommate tried to steal the cat and in the ensuing scuffle bit the caller.

1439 – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident where a person T-boned a Fed-Ex truck. There were no injuries.

1536 – Caller reported a woman sitting in the sun, stating that the sun heals her. The caller wasn't wanting a welfare check just extra patrol.

Tuesday, Aug. 1

0637 – A lifeline alarm went off. The neighbor called to state that it was an accidental tripping of the alarm.

0716 – Caller reported a hit and run on their son's car.

1303 – Caller reported a semi stuck under the underpass. They requested an officer due to the heavy flow of traffic.

1700 – Caller reported a possible drunk driver. She stated that the truck was swerving all over the road and almost hit two cars.

1723 – A fire was reported somewhere between Nashua and Frazer. It was about eight or nine hay bales that caught fire.

1757 – Caller reported a vehicle stuck in an area. It needed assistance getting through since it was too tall to pass.

2021 – Caller reported that his friend's car was broken down on the roadside.

Wednesday, Aug. 2

0013 – A large piece of concrete was removed from the roadway on U.S. 2.

1009 – Caller wanted an officer to come look at his truck for damages. Caller thinks that it was debris falling.

1018 – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident. They had no description of the vehicles but they did have the location.

1412 – Caller reported a homeless person at their business in need of assistance.

1919 – Caller reported a truck and trailer swerving all over the road. Caller thinks that the driver is falling asleep at the wheel.

Thursday, Aug. 3

0946 – Caller stated that she caught the cat that bit her 10 days prior. The cat was supposed to be under quarantine but was not. An officer will be down to check if the cat is healthy before transport.

1312 – Reynold's manager reported that someone hit the cart corrals in the parking lot. He has the license plate number.

1548 – Semi clipped a power line behind Ezzie's.

1602 – Caller reported that he is having issues with his neighbor. The neighbor is spraying for weeds and the last time that happened it killed the caller's dog. The caller thinks that the neighbor has a problem with the place he parks his vehicle.

1756 – Caller reported that she was missing a guitar. She later found it.

1810 – Caller reported that her vehicle had a flat tire. She is parked at a rest area and will try to get it moved.

1821 – Caller reported a combine on fire.

1842 – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries.

2003 – Caller wanted to get in touch with someone from the water department. Water from the main line is leaking into their house.

2029 – Caller reported a possible theft of hay at the stockyards. He saw two vehicles parked at the hay shed that he did not recognize.

Friday, Aug. 4

0808 – Nashua Public Works Director reported that someone stole a gate, pins and all, from its location on Taylor St.

2020 – McCone County Dispatch called to have a possible border set up near Fort Peck. A person who is driving recklessly is heading towards the town. The car is swerving all over the road, speeding, and at some points coming in and out of ditches. MCSO is wanting to catch the driver but wants Valley County to be aware in case.

2306 – Suspicious vehicle call was recorded. The owner's spouse was contacted and he was advised to talk to her.

Saturday, Aug. 5

1225 – Caller reported a young bird that looked to be unwell and was walking funny.

1752 – Caller reported a group of two men who were trying to leave beer bottles on his property. They were headed to the Cottonwood.

2126 – Caller reported a reckless driver who almost hit him near the Milk River Bridge.
