FORE the Kids

The 8th Annual FORE the Kids golf tournament welcomed 18 teams, including 11 youth golfers to Sunnyside July 29. This year's tourney had two flights of teams with Brady and DC Flaten topping the first while Storm and Jenn Jackson won the second flight.

After regular play, we held a Youth "Drive, Chip & Putt" contest where each youth was able to compete for a chance to win a student membership from Sunnyside. Ali Palm was the winner this year.

FORE the Kids awarded this year's scholarship to Riley Smith. He earned $1,000 to go towards his college future in Butte. Smith (center) is pictured above with Sandy Mazcka and Jenn Jackson.

It was a fun-filled day and great to see all the youth golfers playing. We can't wait for next year's tournament and hope to see more youth golfers as the years go by.
