Male Arrested After Incident On Glasgow's North Side

During the evening of June 17, officers with the Glasgow Police Department responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex on the north side of Glasgow. The reporting party stated that her ex-husband was attempting to break into her apartment. While the woman was on the phone with Dispatch, the male kicked in the door gaining access to the apartment. Once officers arrived, the suspect refused to comply with commands given by the officers. He was taken into custody by officers after attempting to resist arrest.

He is charged with Assault of a Weapon, Partner/Family Assault, Resisting Arrest and Aggravated Burglary and as of press time is being held at the Valley County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

Editor’s Note: The Glasgow Courier has instituted a policy to not identify arrested individuals due to the presumption of innocence.
