GDA Hosts First Competition And Alive At Five Of The Season
The Glasgow Downtown Association held their first Alive at Five and Down the Dog competition on June 21. The event was hosted by Sean R. Heavey Gallery, Shelbie's Barbershop, The Loaded Toad, The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council and The Glasgow Courier. Bully Burgers and Bites drove from Glendive to serve delicious food from their food truck.
After two minutes, Reece Hunsley was declared the winner after eating all five required hot dogs. He will be competing in the Sept. 20 Calcutta which will include all of the Down the Dog competition winners from throughout the Alive at Five season, the reigning champ from last year Marc Wethern as well as a voted member of the public.
