Caring Hands Of Glasgow Offering Scholarships To Area Women

Caring Hands of Glasgow, Mont., is offering three scholarships to women who are in various stages of their educational journey this year. These are local scholarships that are available to any woman who is a resident of Valley County.

Applications for all scholarships must be postmarked no later than July 1st, 2023. Applications are available at the Caring Hands Thrift Store or [email protected]

Volunteer Award

Are you a young woman between the ages of 14-17?

Do you enjoy volunteering in your school and community?

Do you reside in Valley County?

If you answered yes to these questions, you may apply for the Caring Hands Award worth $1000. $500 is awarded to the individual and $500 is awarded to the organization that the recipient volunteered for.

Opportunity Scholarship

Caring Hands Opportunity Scholarship amount is $1000. It is designed to assist women who want to overcome poverty, domestic or sexual violence, divorce, death of a spouse or other life challenges; women who have the courage and determination to turn their lives around. This scholarship is all about helping women who have faced economic and personal hardships.

Do you provide primary support for yourself and your dependents?

Have financial need?

Enrolled in or been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program?

Motivated to achieve your education and career goals?

Caring Hands Post Graduate Scholarship

The Caring Hands Post Graduate Scholarship amount is $3000. This may be awarded to any person who resides in Valley County and holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university leading to an advanced degree or to enhanced standing or competence in her profession.

Caring Hands and their families are not eligible.
