Gary Lynn Frazier, 78, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 27, at Highland Cemetery in Glasgow, Mont., with Pastor Bonnie Novak officiating.
Born Aug. 23, 1943, to Harold and Mabel (Smith) Frazier. He spent most of his younger years on Hungary Creek, south of Frazer, Mont. He went to grade school in Frazer and country school out south of Frazer. His freshman and sophomore years were spent in Wolf Point, Mont., and his junior year in Colombia Falls, Mont.
At the age of 17, he had his father sign for him to join the Navy and served as a deep-sea diver from 1959 to 1962. After his discharge, he was a welder in Illinois for two years.
He moved back to Montana and married Sandy Boyer, though they later divorced. He worked driving truck for Consolidated Freight Way, hauling jet fuel to Minot Air Force base. He also drove for Curley Marchwick, hauling livestock for various farmers and ranchers. In 1974, he married Linda Knight, though they later divorced. In 2000, he met Betty Anthony, who became his companion until her death in 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; his mother, Mabel; brothers Milo and Nibbs; and sister Wanda.
He is survived by his sister, Melba Anderson; and five children, Curt, Shelley, Gary, Monty and Marty.
