Placement Of Flags On Veterans' Grave Sites

Saturday May 27, we will again be placing flags on all veterans’ grave sites at the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow recognizing their service to our country. We will meet across from the Veteran’s Monument just up from the entrance at 9 a.m.

Gary Fast will again escort the flags to the cemetery in his restored Army Jeep and trailer. Please come prepared with a screwdriver or some such instrument to make holes with to make it easier to put the flags in the ground. List of grave sites and area assignments will be given to the volunteers.

Volunteers are needed to make this go quickly. Please take an hour and help us honor those who gave so much to our country. We will remove the flags May 29, Memorial Day, at 1 p.m.
