Milk River's Tiffany Granholm was the first of the Special Olympians to carry the Flame of Hope during its journey through Glasgow April 30. She was joined by fellow Olympians from Glasgow and Opheim as well as law enforcement officers and Valley County students. The Area Special Olympics will be held this Thursday, May 4, at the Glasgow High School track. The games will begin at 9:30 a.m. The State Summer Games will be held in Bozeman May 17-19.
Representatives from Frazer Schools, Glasgow Schools, Glasgow Police Department, Valley County Sheriff's Department and Montana Highway Patrol gather together to begin the Special Olympians leg of the Flame of Hope for the Law Enforcement Torch Run. Olympians from Glasgow and Opheim carried the flag through Glasgow April 30.
