The Glasgow Kiwanis Club presented Bring Up Grade (BUG) Awards to 28 students in grades 4 and 5 at the Irle School to those who brought up grades between the second and third grading periods.
Fourth-grade students were Abygail Cole, Karver Cromwell, Owen George, Garrett Hicks, Hayden Hilton, Sophia Kennedy, Jace Lacock, Layla Lehner, Layla Lonebear, Molly Miller, Devon Monroe, Madisyn Murch, Ava Nickels, Tiffany Plummer, Taden Sundeen and Shirley Thompson.
Fifth-grade students were Greyson Beadle, Bethany Bras, Jayden Bruce, Jorden Bruce, Quincy Iwen, Tate Loftsgaard, Sarah Mattox, Lakelyn Olson, Lucinda Proctor, Rylan Schultz, Finley Tatafu and Adam Weber.
Kiwanis was represented by Dr. Charles Wilson who presented BUG certificates printed by the Chamber. Also Kiwanis provided ice cream that was served by Middle School Builders Club members Haleigh Huntsman, Paityn Britzman and their advisor Mrs. Nicole Boos.
The BUG program is worldwide, and is another way that Kiwanis International fulfills its motto: Serving the Children of the World.
