Security Incident at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital

On the afternoon of March 29th a security incident occurred at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital. Law enforcement responded to the incident, and the facility was

put on lockdown for a brief period. The incident has been resolved and there is no concern for safety at this time.

The Southwing parking lot, Southwing entrance, and South Employee parking lot are currently closed. Additionally, all services in the Southwing portion of the facility have

been suspended through the end of the week. This includes: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Patient Accounting, Health Information & Medical Records, and WIC.

We appreciate the quick response of law enforcement, and are working hard to resume normal operations.
