The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of March 23, show 562 cattle sold. Cows and bulls steady. Utility and commercial cows brought in $90 to $104, top $108; canner & cutter cows $75 to $90; young feeding/turnout cows $110 to $157; bulls $107 to $128.50; three-to-six year old bred cows $2,100 to $2,575.
Martin Red Angus averaged $3,215 with the top of $3,750
Koss Angus averaged $3,625 with the top of $4,250.
3Y Bar Angus averaged $3,250 with the top of $4,000.
3Y Bar Angus two-year-olds averaged $3,625 with the top of $4,000.
Thursday, March 30, is the Gibbs Red Angus and Northern Lites Red Angus Production Auctions. Gibbs Red Angus will have 40 Red Angus bulls available while Northern Lites Red Angus will have 32 Red Angus bulls Available. There is also the All Class Cattle Auction where Fuhrmann Red Angus will sell 25 Red Angus Bangs vacc. replacement heifers.
Thursday, April 6 is the Feeder Special and All Class Cattle Auction with several consignments of grass weight steers and heifers and Bangs vaccinated replacement heifers pending.
Saturday, April 8 is the Math Angus Bull Production Auction featuring 65 two-year-old bulls; 30 yearling bulls; 3 fall born Flush Brothers; and 40 Angus Bangs vacc. replacement heifers.
Thursday, April 13, is the Eayrs Angus Bull & Female Production Auction, selling 50 Angus bulls and 30 Bangs vaccinated Angus replacement heifers and stock cow, bred heifer and pair auction. There will also be the All Class Cattle Auction.
