Wow. Statement made. GWC is peaking as we head into the final month of the season! On Feb. 25, Highlanders headed 70 miles east to the Annual Poplar Invitational. At the end of the day; 20 Individual Champions were crowned and 45 found their way into a top three finish. Our overall individual record was 100 wins and 54 losses with 78 pins (41 pins against).
Eleven of our older kids attended the Havre Middle School Invitational on the same date and 10 of them found the podium. This experienced group was paced by three individual champions.
Next weekend, the Glasgow Wrestling Club will wrestle at Middle School State or the Big Spring Brawl in Lewistown while others will compete in the Glendive Invitational.
