Glasgow had seven infractions for 31 penalty minutes while Billings had two penalties for 15 minutes. Collins served a tripping call in the first. He returned to the box in the second on a 2-and-10 checking from behind call. Hansen also sat in the second for roughing. Holte took an involuntary seat in the third for hooking. Hansen and Billings’ Bear Newman dropped the gloves, each drawing a 5-and-10 for fighting.

Jacob Potter turned away 23 shots for a 95.8 save percentage while Glasgow put 30 pucks on the Bulls’ netminder.

Sunday morning’s game was a much tighter affair: Glasgow put up another 30 shots while Billings put 24 pucks on the Dawgs’ net. Each team served only one minute and 30 seconds in the box on one penalty.

Miller put Glasgow on the scoreboard first, 1:07 into the first with help from Hudson Honey. Billings answered seven minutes and 20 seconds later and took the lead late in the first.

The Bulls put up another two goals in the second to cary a 4-1 lead into the final period.

Honey served up some sweet time on the ice for the Dawgs in the third, netting a natural hat trick for the tie. He scored 3:04 into the period and followed it up with another goal 12:33 into the third. Honey netted his third with one second remaining in the game.

Miller served Glasgow’s lone penalty, sitting for roughing late in the first.
