Taylor Captains Spartans To Second Place Finish Opheim Player Lone Senior for Scobey

Opheim's Carrie Taylor, captain of the Unified Scobey-Opheim Spartans, helped her team to a second place finish at the District 3C Basketball Tournament in Glasgow this past weekend. The Spartans defeated Lustre Christian 55-30 Thursday and fell 58-34 to the North Country Mavericks in the championship game Saturday. Taylor had 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and seven steals with two fouls against Lustre and 7 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal with four fouls against Scobey.
