Wethern Ends Tenure At MT Council On Development Disabilities

The Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities recently said goodbye to member Connie Wethern of Glasgow. Appointed by Governor Steve Bullock in 2010, Connie served as a parent advocate representing northeastern Montana.

Wethern completed her termed appointment on Dec. 31, 2022. Over the course of her tenure on the Council she served in a number of leadership positions on task forces, committees and as Council Chair.

Her dedication to ensuring quality services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead her every action on the Council. Always willing to go the extra mile literally, Wethern provided transportation to many Council members from across the state to attend the Helena meetings when no other transportation existed. She will be missed and the Council thanks her for her years of service.

The Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities is located in Helena and makes up one-third of the federal developmental disabilities network in Montana.
