The Valley County Pioneer Museum is closed for the month of January.
Nemont Manor has activities scheduled throughout the month for the entire community as well as the residents of Nemont Manor. If you would like a calendar, please contact 406-228-4306 or e-mail [email protected] and they will mail one to you. Events are also listed below.
Nashua Lions Roller Skating has started for the winter! Come have fun on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m., each Sunday until March at the Nashua Civic Center. Cost is $2, which includes skate rental. Drinks and popcorn are $1 each.
Through the winter, people can coordinate with staff to visit weekdays at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center by prior appointment only. Call the Interpretive Center at 406-526-3493.
Thursday, Jan. 12
6 p.m. - VFW Post 3107 and Auxiliary meeting at the VFW in Glasgow. The Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m., the Post at 7 p.m. Agenda items will include, final poppy drive funds and teacher of the year. All members are encouraged to attend. Veterans interested in joining are welcome.
6 p.m. - Glasgow High School Speech and Drama Senior Night and Showcase in the Glasgow High School Library.
Friday, Jan. 13
Noon – Nashua Senior Citizen Pot Luck. The monthly meeting will follow at 1 p.m.
2 p.m. - Game Day at Nemont Manor. Chineses Checkers and Scrabble available. All are welcome!
Saturday, Jan. 14
1 p.m. - The Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial annual meeting at the VFW in Glasgow. The public is welcome.
1 – 4 p.m. - 5th Annual Glasgow Elks Chili Cook off. $25 entry fee with 100 percent payback. Cooking on site from 1 to 4 p.m. Free chili for the public!
Monday, Jan. 16
The Valley County Courthouse will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Tuesday, Jan. 17
5 p.m. - Glasgow City Council will meet for their regular council meeting in the Council Chambers inside of the Civic Center.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
1 – 3 p.m. - Community Bingo in the Nemont Manor community room. All are welcome!
5 p.m. - Opheim School Board meeting at the school.
