Valley County Long Run Fire Department was one of the many local agencies who braved the cold and entertained those of all ages during the Parade of Lights on Dec. 3.

Everyone was bundled up for the chilly temperatures that came during the Glasgow Chamber "A Candyland Christmas" Christmas Stroll and Parade of Lights. The Valley C.A.R.E. Coalition float during the Parade of Lights on Dec. 3. The Coalition was represented by those of all ages, including volunteers Katrena Palmer (thrid from left) and Brianna Leader (sixth from left) trying to stay warm in the fridged temperatures.

The Polar Plunge took place on Dec. 3, in front of th Glasgow Civic Center where members from across all agencies took the plunge into the chilly water to raise funds for Special Olympics. Though totals were finalized at press time, the community certainly showed up and gave freely. Funds will stay locally and were provided to Milk River, Inc.
