For the week of Nov. 7 through 13, there were four reports of loose livestock, one report of a missing dog and seven motor vehicle stops.

Monday, Nov. 7

1646 – Caller from a business said someone is bringing up a big 5th Wheel trailer from Oregon. He said they’re having problems with the trailer. He wants to know if the trailer can be parked at the Fairgrounds for a few days until they can get parts to fix it. Deputy was notified who stated they can only be at the fairgrounds for the next two nights.

1928 – Caller reported a hitchhiker. He is walking along Highway 2 carrying several garbage bags filled with stuff. There was no further description of the male.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

1045 – MHP dispatch advised they have a report of a semi loaded with hay that has slid off the road. He believes there is a broken axle. There are no troopers in the area. At 1051, a deputy advised he patrolled to BIA RT 1 and was unable to locate.

1112 – Reporting party called stating she left her earbuds on the bench by the window closest to the treadmill yesterday. She provided the time frame of when she was there. She talked to someone about it and she was told someone had taken them. The reporting party stated the facility has badge access and cameras inside the facility.

1511 – Received a 911 call who spoke to a female advising their vehicle just died. She said it didn’t give any kind of warning, the battery just died. It was notified AAA was contacted who stating they would contact someone. Dispatch advised there is no one in the area that does AAA anymore but would try to get someone to come out to help. The tow company was notified. At 1542, the tow company advised the people called them back and got he vehicle started.

1623 – Reporting party called in wanting two subjects removed from her home. They are now helping her around the house. She said she had told them they could stay for one night but now they have stayed “forever” and she wants them gone. Later the reporting party called back and stated the couple just attacked her and her mother. They’re not injured. A description of the vehicle the suspects left in was provided but it’s believed they are still in town. RCSO dispatch was then contacted. At 1629, a 911 hang up call was recorded. The number was called back and contact was made with a female who said she was calling for the couple associated with the first call. The couple stated they were attacked and hit with a cup and a frying pan, which has resulted in bloody heads. At 1800, the couple advised they were told they were trespassing on the location.

2139 – Caller reported a woman stuck in the ditch. She’s driving a front wheel drive and has a child in the car. At 2216, deputy advised he got the vehicle unstuck.

Wednesday, Nov. 9

0502 – Reporting party stated there are very icy road conditions on 7th St. N coming down from Airport Road.

1140 – Caller reported they have found a Block Management Sign and a Green Road Sign that says 1st Ave in a vehicle they are cleaning up for someone who has bought the vehicle. They don’t want the new owners to find this in their vehicle.

1159 – Deputy advised there is an antenna laying on the ground but it’s unknown if this has anything to do with an accident. There is no damage to the arms and no evidence of an accident that he can see.

1458 – BNSF called to state that a vehicle hit one of their cross arms. He stated they have a maintainer en route and is about 60 minutes out. They are not sure if the vehicle is still on scene or not. A deputy was notified to see if he can check the area for a vehicle.

1253 – Reporting party called in stating there is a couple of dead deer in the southbound lane of MT Hwy 438 just north of MM 13. MT DOT was notified.

1417 – A male came into the lobby to report an ATV missing and “suspected stolen” He said they walked by it every day and just noticed it missing, when they thought about it the last time they can remember seeing it was two months ago. He said it was parked at the building. Reporting party still has the key and the new plate for the ATV, the old plate is still on it. The caller provided a description of the ATV, however the original bumper is not on it. This machine has been entered as stolen.

1657 – Reporting party called stating there has been a semi that has rolled over on its side. It was known if there were any injuries, however the driver was climbing out of the truck, who is not hurt. The wife was also able to get out safely. EMT with Hinsdale Ambulance called in to advise they are in Glasgow and to page out Glasgow Ambulance. At 1626, a male reported that a semi flipped over just inside the Phillips/Valley County line. Multiple agencies assisted with injured parties and the scene.

1639 – Caller reported she’s not able to get up the hill to Northern Heights because it’s too icy. Public Works Director was called who called by and stated someone will go and take care of it.

1841 – Received a 911 hang up and dispatch called the number but received no answer. Officer was advised who stated the number is also associated with a male who is no longer associated with the location. Later officer arrived at the location and can hear someone screaming inside so requested a Deputy. Then officer requested another officer since all deputies are busy. At 1854, officer advised he had the suspect detained and no longer needed an officer to assist. He requested that Victim Services be contacted.

Thursday, Nov. 10

0723 – Reporting party called in wanting to know if anyone had reported going off the road last night. He stated that someone did and when they got out they tore up his yard, hit a tree and a water spigot. A deputy later advised he took photos and left the property owner a voicemail.

0934 – An abandoned vehicle was reported. Deputy advised will call the registered own and have them take care of the vehicle.

0949 – Reporting party called to report he was driving home last night about 0300 hours with his significant other, who had been playing darts in Nashua. The roads were really bad and it was snowing. He went off the road and took out a fence. He isn’t sure on the location. He didn’t call it in when it occurred because it was cold and snowy and he wanted to get home. He also stated he talked to his insurance company and they stated they needed a report on this accident. The caller was advised he gets to the location, he needs to call back with the mile marker and will let an officer know. At 1047, deputy advised the driver has a friend who may be bale to come out and help him get the vehicle out of the ditch this evening about 1700 hours.

1324 – Manager called in stating they have a pick up truck that has been parked on the west side of the building for about a week to a week and a half. A plate number was provided and they want it moved off the property.

1352 – Caller stated US Hwy 2 by Beaver Creek Rd and the Winderl Ranch is terrible. MT DOT in Wolf Point was notified.

Friday, Nov. 11

0211 – A drunk person fell down and is not getting up. A few minutes later, per an officer they picked themselves up and are going to get breakfast.

0508 – Reporting party stated a guard rail is sticking out a ¼ way into the westbound driving lane. There is no vehicle around. At 0511 another caller stated it is the Beaver Creek Bridge about 2 miles west of Hinsdale. MDOT was notified and they are heading that way. At 0551, per a deputy it is not sticking way out into the lane and you can see it as you approach. At 0712, MT DOT called stating he found a piece of trim from the incident.

0707 – Caller stated she hit a deer on her way to work this morning. The fender is crinkled but there was no fluid coming out she she continued into work. The deer was in the ditch and she does need a report on this for insurance. DOT was notified regarding the deer.

0755 – Caller stated she was driving a school but and there was a pickup in the middle of the road. She swerved to miss them and did not hit them. Now the bus is on it’s side and she had her three kids with her. They are no injured and neither are the hunters. A deputy had requested an ambulance to check out the kids to make sure. It was also requested to call a tow company for the bus and jeep.

1039 – Caller asked to speak with someone from Fish and Game. She stated they have a small finch type bird on her porch that can’t fly and would like them to come pick it up. She was informed that probably wasn’t going to happen but would let them know. Fish and Game was notified who will call her and tell her they are not responding to the call.

1332 – Reporting party called in to advise there is a front end loader at Rose Hill coming southbound that doesn’t’ have any red taillights. It does have headlights on the back so it looks like you’re going to have a head on collision. His work lights are on but there is no flagger or anything and visibility is bad because of the fog. The reporting party believes there will be an accident if something isn’t done about this. A deputy was advised who located the vehicle and it is plowing the road. It does have standard lights on. There is also a grader being the loader that is more o a concern. They are out of the fog and doesn’t believe they will be going back up north. He did call the company to let them know about getting a flagger out there too.

1346 – Reporting party called in stating they need to put gravel down on 5th St. N / 5th Ave N. He just slid through the intersection. He also stated the roads are bad. The city street department was contacted.

2015 – A public assist call was recorded. Everyhting is okay, the driver was just helping some kids out.

2045 – A deputy is out on a public assist with a semi.

Saturday, Nov. 12

0909 – Caller reported his garage is on fire. He states no one is in the building but there is a propane tank near by. A second call came in from a female wanting to know if anyone was getting there. She was audibly upset. IT was confirmed the fire crews were on the way. It was also reconfirmed no one was in the garage and there are no injuries.

1845 – Two 911 calls came in, they were the parties involved in a two-care accident. Each reported the other car swerved and hit the other bouncing them into the ditch. There are no injuries reported. Highway Patrol and deputy was notified. One car was driveable and the other was taken by tow truck.

1922 – Reporting party stated a side-by-side like a gator came ripping around through the hospital parking lot. It looked like it was going to lose control. It went behind the Civic Center and was heading toward Hwy 42. At 1946, an officer followed the tracks to 2nd Ave S. and low them. Was unable to locate.

2218 – A suspicious vehicle was reported. Per officer is was a teenaged couple talking, and they were advised they shouldn’t be back there.

Sunday, Nov. 1

0147 – Caller reported a pick up is tearing around Frazer, driving through people’s yards, a playground and is eluding to him. It was advised to call Tribes also. At 0201, caller called back stating the vehicle is now parked.
