Wheatgrass Artist of the Month

Frank Vandall is the Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery Artist of the Month. His show will be available to view through Nov. 30, at 523 2nd Ave. So., Glasgow.

Vandall is a self taught artist in drawing and acrylic paintings working not from reference photos, but from visions in his memory bank. He is able to capture the intensity of a deer being hunted to the serenity of nesting in the tall prairie grasses. The vicious snarl of his bear almost makes one back away to a safer distance. Yet, Frank can also capture the cuteness of a bunny rabbit.
