Hinsdale Raiders, Frazer Bearcubs
Alyssa Toce Blount runs the Class C girls race at the MHSA State XC Championships in Missoula Oct. 22, in chilly weather before the frost hit.
Hinsdale Raiders
Hinsdale sent two runners to the MHSA State XC Championships in Missoula in the Raiders' return to the sport. Zora Holt and Linden Holt ran in the girls and boys races, respectively.
Z. Holt ran a 22:53.7 to take 18th place out of 115 runners in the girls Class C event.
L. Holt took 115th out of 132 runners with a time of 24:01.38.
Frazer Bearcubs
Frazer sent six runners to the MHSA State XC Championships in Missoula this past Saturday. The girls team placed 16th with 200 points. The boys had only two runners and did not qualify for a team score.
Alyssa Toce Blount ran a 26:09.6 for 58th place out of 115 runners in the girls race. Shakira Beston set a season record with her time of 26:37.1, finishing in 64th place. Angel Nelligan took 78th at 28:11.9. Kalianna Toce Blount ran a 32:07.5 for 105th place.
Ty Fourstar paced the Bearcub boys with a 25:09.21 time and 120th place out of 132 runners in the boys race. Cassius Smoker ran a 25:37.0 for 125th place.
