As the 4-H year closes, here's what the Western Valley 4-H club's been doing.
On Aug. 1, the Western Valley 4-H club set up a booth for the Northeast Montana Fair with the theme of "Calling all Superheros." During the fair, Valley County 4-H held their Farm Olympics on Aug. 6, featuring eating contests, hay bale stacking, egg throwing, and more.
On Aug. 14, the Western Valley 4-H Club took some time to unwind at "Seussical the Musical," followed by a relaxing swim in the dredge cuts.
On Sept. 21, Valley County 4-H helped to clean horse stalls prior to the High School Rodeo. 4-H members Zora Holt (Senior 4-H Winner), Linden Holt (Jr 4-H Winner), and Milo Jones, as well as Kadin Davis (Pre-Jr 4-H Winner) were present at the Hinsdale FFA Alumni Livestock Judging on Sept. 23. Best in Varsity FFA was Mattea McColly, best in reasons was RyLee Mix, and FFA member Walker Albus was best overall.
