Kalinski Donates Earnings To VALCO Pool Campaign

Easton Kalinski, seventh-grader at Glasgow Middle School, recently donated his 4H sale earnings of $1,550 to the Valley County Community Pool Campaign. This donation was made possible by Josh Kittleson, David and Anne Bradley and Scott's Track and Wheel who bought Easton's poultry at the 4H sale.

He choose the pool campaign to donate to due to it's future availability to all. "The blueprints show it will be accessible for people like me and when I'm old enough to work, I hope Jory [Casterline] hires me for the office," said Kalinski. He also feels it's important to build a new pool for the safety of all swimmers who utilize the pool.

His favorite part of 4H is being around animals, specifically chickens, as well as being around and learning from other 4H members and volunteers. He also states that 4H has taught him to be a good citizen.

In addition to 4H, he loves science, because Mr. Nelson rocks, and he would be a carp if he was a fish, because no one around this area would eat him.
