Frazer's cross country teams made the short journey to Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck Sept. 17 to compete at the Glasgow Invitational.
Cassius Smoker led the varsity boys team with a 57th place finish at 27:01.01, improving his previous weeks time by 27 seconds. Joseph Beston ran a 35:52.96 for 63rd place. A determined Christopher Fox finished in 64th place at 49:26.60.
Alyssa Toce Blount finished in 40th place with a time of 25:27.63 to lead the Bearcubs varsity girls. Isabelle Even ran a 27:13.75 – more than 45 seconds better than her time in Scobey last week – for 49th place. Shakira Beston shaved 14 seconds off her time from Scobey to finish in 51st place with a time of 27:37.03. Kalianna Toce Blount took 54th place with a time of 29:12.68.

Frazer hosts their Invitational this Thursday, Sept. 22 on Old Indian Highway. Elementary boys will race at 4:15 p.m. followed by elementary girls at 4:35 p.m. Junior high girls will start at 4:55 p.m. followed by junior high boys at 5:05 p.m. Varsity girls will begin their race at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity boys will run at 6 p.m. The meet will conclude with and All Schools Alumni Race at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 24, the Bearcubs will attend the Culbertson Invitational.
