Calendar of Upcoming Events in the Area

The Valley County Pioneer Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open four days over each weekend in September: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The last day of regular open business hours will be Sept. 26. Through the winter, people can coordinate with staff to visit weekdays by prior appointment only. Call the Interpretive Center at 406-526-3493.

Thursday, Sept. 8

Free Hearing Clinic at 334 W. Court Street, Glasgow. Call 888-698-5480 to schedule an appointment.

5:30 – 7 p.m. - Happy Retirement Randy Holom, Dr. Anne Millard, Ellen Guttenberg and Alice Hopstad. Come join us for food and fun at Hoyt Park. Open to the Public. Kids are welcome.

6 – 8 p.m. - Reimaging Rural session at the Cottonwood Inn and Suites.

7 p.m. - St. Marie Women’s Club will have their monthly meeting at the Town Hall building.

Friday, Sept. 9

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens Potluck followed by a meeting at 1 p.m.

5:30 p.m. - Community Skatepark Meeting at Toodie’s Cafe. Come out to discuss plans and share ideas for how we can improve the local skatepark.

5-7 p.m. - Glasgow Elks BBQ Cook-off Pulled Pork Nachos with Cook-off Calcutta at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 10

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Community Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Class at FMDH Ambulance Barn, 310 Mahon St. Call Connie at 228-3648, leave a message, by Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. to register.

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Glasgow / Valley County Airport Open House and Car Show sponsored by Cape Air.

12:30 p.m. – Cornhole Registration

1 p.m. – Cornhole Tournament Starts

Sunday, Sept. 11

1:30 p.m. - Game Day at the Nashua Senior Citizens.

2-4 p.m. - St. Marie Women’s Club will have their annual Ice Cream Social at the Town Hall Building. All are invited.

Monday, Sept. 12

4:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Indian Taco Supper at Nashua Our Redeemer Church. Free will offering and take out is available.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - SafeTALK – Suicide Prevention Training at the Cottonwood Inn. Pre-registration is required by going to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/safetalk-suicide-prevention-training-glasgow-tickets-379902617957. This is a free event but limited to 30 attendees.

7 p.m. - Hinsdale Mosquito Control Board Meeting at the Hinsdale Ambulance Meeting room.

7 p.m. - Opheim School Regular Monthly Board Meeting

Wednesday, Sept. 14

6 p.m. - Glasgow School Regular Board Meeting at the District Office.
