The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards of of Sept. 1, show 359 cattle sold with cows lower compared to the Aug. 18 auction. Bulls were steady compared to the Aug. 18 auction and light test of open yearling heifers are selling very strong.
There will be no auction on Sept. 8. Thursday, Sept. 15, will be the 29th Big Fall Yearling Classic and All Class Cattle Auction. Over 1,500 fancy northeast Montana steers, spayed and open heifers are expected. Tentative consignments include 250 Angus Bred Heifers. Also selling one youth ranch saddle. Northern Prairie Auto Sales will furnish lunch for this special auction. Stop in and visit with Jack, Jason and Erin about a great new or used vehicle.
Monday, Sept. 19 is the last northern video caution of the season. Thursdays, Sept. 22 and 29 will be the All Class Cattle Auctions.
