Valley County 4-H Meet With Congressional Leaders

On July 12, which also happened to be National Cow Appreciation Day, Senator Daines met with a group of Valley County 4-H students in Washington, D.C. In addition to meeting with Senator Daines during their time in D.C., the students also met with Senator Jon Tester and House of Representative Matt Rosendale.

During their talk with Daines, he discussed the importance of supporting Montana farmers and ranchers and encouraged the students to keep pursuing a career in ag. After the meeting Daines said, "No better way to spend Cow Appreciation Day than with Montana 4-H-ers who are passionate about Montana ag! These ladies will no doubt be leaders in their community and our state.
