Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of July 21 show 321 cattle sold with cows and bulls lower than the July 7 auction. Reports are coming in regarding severe drought in Texas, Arizona and the southern states that are liquidating herds. This is bringing in large numbers of cows to town and pressuring the market even to the north.
Utility and commercial cows brought in $74-$84.50; canner and cutter cows $65 to $75; and bulls $99 to $107.50. There was no test on young cows.
