Calendar Of Upcoming Events In The Area

The Valley County Pioneer Museum hours through September are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. through September 5. They will also have weekend activities for youth. Call 406-526-3493, for more information, or see their Facebook page – USACEFortPeck.

Dime Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizen Center each Tuesday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. weekly.

The Congregate meals usually served at the Glasgow Senior Center will be moved to the Cottonwood for the month of July due to staff vacation. Meals will still be served Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a recommended donation of $6. Call the Senior Center, 406-228-9500 with any questions.

Wednesday, July 20

Noon – Ocean of Possibilities TEEN Summer Reading Party at the Glasgow City-County Library. All bingo tickets must be turned in prior to this time.

5 – 8 p.m. - Alive at Five in front of Hi-Line Eye Care, 234 5th St. S., Glasgow.

Thursday, July 21

1 – 3 p.m. - Card shower / Retirement Party for Clay and Sherry Berger at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow.

2 p.m. - Mike Waters, Senator Daines representative for eastern Montana will be at the VFW Glasgow to visit with veterans. He wants to visit with veterans will take any issues they may be to the Senator.

Friday, July 22

8:30 p.m. - Raya and the Last Dragon Movie Night at Alumni Park sponsored by the Valley CARE Coalition.

Saturday, July 23

8 a.m. - Harold Dean Blount 2nd Annual Memorial Run / Walk at Cansuska Presbyterian Church, Frazer. Free registration. Sign up starts at 8 a.m. with all races starting at 9 a.m.

7 p.m. - Fight For Our Future VI MMA/Boxing Event at the Valley Event Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Cottonwood, Loaded Toad and Soma dis Deli.

Saturday, July 30

10 a.m. - Noon – Verizon-Cellular Plus in Glasgow will be giving away free backpacks filled with school supplies. 54147 US-2, next to the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Ice Cream Social at the Pioneer Museum, Glasgow. All proceeds will benefit the Museum.
