The Hinsdale School Board is asking the community for funds to replace the 1968 school boiler and the high school ventilation system. At this time federal and local funds are being used to replace the elementary ventilation system.
According to the school, for 54 years, with diligent maintenance and pride, the boiler and ventilation system was operational, however now it is becoming obsolete. The improvements will help improve air quality in the building and will make the heating system more efficient.
The Hinsdale School Board members are asking the community to vote yes on the Building Reserve Levy Election. They are committed to ensuring quality education is available to the community and strive to keep funding at a minimum, however the need for a new boiler system is paramount.
Ballots were mailed and can be mailed back or dropped off at the school by Tuesday, July 12.
If there are any questions regarding this project, please contact Hinsdale School board members and school administration. The phone number to the main office at the school is 406-364-2314.
