Law Enforcement Report

For the week of May 30 through June 4 there were 44 motor vehicle stops, seven dog/cat control calls, four assist citizen/public assists, one report for record, one hazard call, on residential alarm, one parking violation and one assist to other agency.

For the week of June 6 through 12, there were 36 motor vehicle stops, 10 reports of loose livestock and five reports of a barking/loose dogs.

Thursday, June 2

1137 – Opheim FD called in stating they are responding with two trucks. 1138- RP called in stating he has a grain bin that used to hold fertilizer on fire. 1216 – Opheim FC called in stating the fire is out.

1149 – RP called in to report someone just backed into his vehicle. An officer advised vehicle information sheets have been exchanged. This is on private property so there will be no citations.

1953 – Caller reported that there’s two-three bikes raising hell behind Skylark towards the race tracks.

2045 – Caller reported that when his wife returned home at 7:30 p.m. She met two dirt bikes by the Ridge Runners. One did a wheelie and the other went through the gate at the Ridge Runners. He also reported an old white pickup doing about 60 mph by a residence and was headed north across the bridge.

2046 – RP reported that about 5 minutes ago two dirt bikes went up by Kirkland Road. One did a wheelie the entire way.

Friday, June 3

0711 – RP called in wanting an officer to remove a female from his property. He states she is being ignorant. 0716 – RP called in to cancel the deputy. He said they have left now. Advised him the deputy is just arriving. Deputy advised the parties have separated and no crime has been committed.

1002 – Deputy advised this trailer has two tires that are flat, so flat that it is riding on the rim, causing damage to the roadway.

1113 – Caller states her ex will not give her her internet router, microwave and some other things. Deputy called in to advise he spoke to the RP and he explained to her this is a civil case and she will have to go to court and file it there.

1319 – Caller reported a vehicle stuck in the underpass.

2010 – RP called and said someone passed them a counterfeit $100 bill today. They are currently going through their video to see who it was. Deputy requested the suspect’s name be added to the card. 2158 – One adult male.

2037 – RP called and stated the dirt bikes again behind a nearby residence. They road up the hill to go home but came back on a a 4-wheeler and a 2-wheeler. He said they’re getting more brazen and they wait until the owner of the land is not home. He is making a report for record, as instructed by a deputy.

Saturday, June 4

1229 – RP called stating a neighbor witnessed a car swipe the RP truck parked on the street. An officer advised the owner of the car was going to meet with him to talk about the incident. Advised him she has a warrant. Confirmed the warrant.

Monday, June 6

1750 – Caller reported that he locked his keys in his car and was wondering if someone could help unlock his car. The numbers were provided for local locksmiths.

Tuesday, June 7

0938 – Reporting party called in stating that at approximately 0900 this morning, there was a red truck with no trailer, no mud flaps, no insignia on the side of it, who threw up two rocks that hit her windshield and broke it. At 0942, officer advised he spoke to the reporting party.

1048 – Reporting party called in stating there is a tractor with a tiny trailer. It’s unknown if it’s broken down or not but the guy tried to flag her down, she didn’t stop. A description of the male was provided. At 1104, officer advised tractor was located and everything is okay.

1602 – Caller reported someone hit her vehicle in the Glasgow Clinic parking lot. She has blue paint transfer on her white vehicle. She is still on scene and can wait for an officer.

1726 – Officer is out with a disabled vehicle at US 2 and 6th Street North. They’re going to try to put it out of the way. At 1745, officers advised the vehicle was pushed near Albertsons and is off the road.

1917 – Caller reported there is a person who is lighting off fireworks or something and it’s annoying his animals and him.

Wednesday, June 8

0819 – City Road Department called in to state they are shutting down the street as they are putting in speed bumps. Glasgow Ambulance and LRFD/Glasgow FD was paged with this information.

0918 – A male called stating that recently someone had opened a Kohls Department store credit card in his name and bought a whole bunch of things. He went to Kohls and they have fond him not liable for any of the charges that were made and they are sending him a letter about this matter. He also stated he would get in touch with the three major credit entities and let them know what happened as well as the outcome. He doesn’t want to speak to an officer but if he doesn’t get anywhere with them he will call back to get advice on what else he can do to remedy the situation.

1113 – Reporting party called stating he received a scam call from a male. It was about Medicare, wanting to see if he had received his packet yet. He stated he knew it was a scam and didn’t give them any of his personal information.

1424 – Caller reported there has been a green bike in rough shape in a bush for a month. She stated she has had the bike for about three weeks now. She is also advised how to gain access to where the bike is.

1656 – Officer advised someone just walked into an abandoned building by the water tower.
