Graduation Seating Passes

First let me apologize to my readers. Too many things going on at one time. June is the month for graduations and weddings. I will start with graduation memories of my era.

My senior year begin with a move from Opheim H.S to GHS. I had chosen to find work in Glasgow the summer before my senior year. This was the days of the GAFB. The Glasgow High School seniors went to school half day due to high school population. That was great for a working gal, I could go to school in the morning and be free to work part time in the afternoon. Of course, there was a downside to that choice also, but the memory I would like to share is the fact that we, as graduates, were given four seating passes in the school auditorium for our family that would attend the services. I do not remember the fine details, did I choose to give the seats to my Mom and Dad, and my two sisters, or did I choose the set of grandparents living here over my sisters? I think that outdoor services graduation services were held also before the building of the new high school. I bet there are other readers that could share more tidbits on graduations of the past.
