Nashua's Tia Dees competes in the shot put in Glasgow earlier this season. The Porcupine junior represented Nashua at State in the shot put and discus.
Nashua's Tia Dees and Xander Pugh represented the Porcupines at the Class C State Track and Field Meet in Great Falls this past weekend.
Dees set a personal record in the shot put with a 34-03.50 throw for seventh place, just missing the podium. She threw 98-06 in the discus preliminaries for eighth place moving into the finals. She finished in ninth place with another throw of 98-06.
Pugh tied for 14th place in the boys' high jump, clearing 5-08.00. He set a personal best 19-05.75 in the long jump, taking 12th place.
