Lustre Christian's Cayden Klatt runs the 3200 meters at the Class C State Track and Field meet in Great Falls May 28.
The Lustre Christian boys track team took 15th place at the Class C State Meet in Great Falls this past weekend with 12 points. Jasiah Hambira and Cayden Klatt competed for the Lions.
Klatt ran the 3200 meters. He took 21st place with a time of 12:09.41.
Hambira earned the Lions' 12 points with third place finishes in the high jump and triple jump. The defending state champion in the Class C boys' high jump, Hambira cleared a personal best 6-04.00 for third place.
He jumped 43-11.00 in the triple jump preliminaries to sit in first place heading into the finals. He maintained his distance, but saw the second- and third-place finalists pass him, both with personal bests.
