Nashua Porcupines Track

The Porcupines are sending two athletes to the Class C State Track meet in Great Falls Thursday through Saturday, May 26-28.

Tia Dees will compete in the girls' shot put and discus while Xander Pugh earned spots in the boys' high jump and long jump.

Dees earned second place in the discus with a personal best throw of 107-08. She threw 33-03.50 in shot put for fourth place. Dees also threw a personal best in javelin – 95-04 – and took ninth place.

Deja Morgan also competed in the girls' discus, taking 14th place with a 67-11 throw. She took 15th in long jump with a leap of 11-05.25. She placed 10th in the 800 meters with a time of 3:05.13.

Leah Morgan ran the 800 meters in 3:21.18 to take 11th place.

Pugh took third in boys' long jump with a personal best 19-00.00 leap. He cleared 5-06.00 in the jump to earn a podium slot. He threw a personal best in javelin – 112-02 – for 10th place and took eighth in the 100 meters with a time of 12.51.

Torrian Lucy placed 10th in the boys' 100 meters with a time of 13.20 and 13th in the 200 meters at 27.83. He also took 10th place in the 110 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 20.85.

The Class C State Track meet will be held at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls Thursday through Saturday, May 26-28.
