Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
4-H has been very busy lately. Here's a peek at what they've been doing this year.
Sewing Camp
On April 24, Western Valley 4-H club held the Valley County Sewing Camp. Kids made their own pillowcases and buttons. Some great supporters were Roberta Britzman, Quilting Club, and the Glasgow Senior Citizen Center.
Rabies Clinic
On April 29, the Western Valley 4-H club hosted their annual Rabies Clinic in the Hinsdale Fire Hall where they vaccinated more than 10 dogs with veterinarian Dr. Patti Maxwell.
On May 1, the Lucky Clover 4-H Club hosted the 4-H annual Valley County 4-H Life Skills Day at the Nashua High School. There were many activities, such as giving speeches, illustrated talks, impromptu, and mock job interviews.
On May 15, the Western Valley 4-H club did their annual Theony Cemetery Cleanup. We had aid of Zoe Zabel from the Lucky Clover 4-H club and Eli Lacock.
Over all, it has been a good year for 4-H. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.
