There were 48 motor vehicle stops, four reports of loose dogs and one report of a barking dog.

Thursday, March 3

1814 – An officer is out with an 18-wheeler on 4th Street South. The driver was napping on their trip back to North Dakota.

Friday, March 4

0750 – The reporting party called stating there is a vehicle moving an implement, going southbound that has a back flagger but no front flagger. There are also no markings indicating it’s a wide load. The caller believes this is unsafe in these conditions. At 0837, an officer reported she came onto the vehicle at approximately MM 25. The vehicle has all his lights on, a flagger in the rear, and has a wide load sign.

1548 – A male called stating there is a deer hung up in some bard wire, just east of Valley Builders on the north side of the highway. At 1602 an officer advised he doesn’t see any deer in the fence.

2128 – A female called requesting assistance in getting into her apartment.

Saturday, March 5

1014 – A caller reported their carbon monoxide alarm went off approximately 20 minutes before he called. He tried contacting the fire department three times before calling 911. Everyone was removed from the residence and was outside. Fire command asked MDU to be contacted. MDU was notified and their ETA was 15 minutes out. At 1058, the scene was clear and all readings were zero.

1739 – A female called in stating they have run out of gas.

2027 – A status check in was performed on an officer. He was alright, just in the process of changing a tire.

Sunday, March 6

0019 – An officer is checking on a vehicle that has been running for a while. It was determined it was just warming up.

0039 – A female reported her vehicle was stolen after leaving it running with her ex-boyfriend inside. The caller and her friend’s wallet is inside of the vehicle. The officer got the vehicle stopped and a deprivation time was provided on the driver.

Monday, March 7

1407 – A caller received a call from someone stating they were calling for the Glasgow Police Department and stated the person was involved in a drug traffic activity as well as other criminal activity. The caller confirmed her bank account with the scam caller. She was advised to call her bank and to get in contract with the Police Department for a fraud packet. An officer was notified and will call her back if she can’t get ahold of a victim witness advocate.

1621 – A caller wanted to speak to an officer about an accident last night. He stated he fell asleep and hit his head. He left the scene and wanted to call it in today to report it. He thinks it happened around 2100 to 2200, but did not go to the hospital to have his head checked. There is skin missing from where he hit his head. The caller was patched up to an officer.

1933 – A male called and reported that someone stole pictures from his girlfriend’s apartment approximately 30 minutes ago when they were not home. It was determined two pictures were taken.

Tuesday, March 8

0852 – A caller advised he put his four wheeler in the lake on Friday. He stated they got it out yesterday and he has already been in contact with the Corps of Engineers. The machine is a total loss and he has turned it into insurance. He stated they put it in Flat Lake and they were in Bear Creek Bay which is just about two bays south of the boat ramp. Dispatch stated it was thought to be in McCone but would take his information in case. The caller was also patched up with McCone County Dispatch.

1800 – A male came to report his license plates were stolen and his lawyer told him to report it to an officer.

Wednesday, March 9

0851 – A female called in to report vandalism in the fourth floor lobby area. She said she has had four to five plants destroyed and she would like an officer to come over and take a look. An officer later advised he spoke to the caller. She doesn’t want to press charges, just wants it on record.

2347 – A male called in to report that he had seen one of the doors open at a local business and there was also a forklift. The male didn’t know who to call. An officer was sent to the location and the building was secured.

Thursday, March 10

1327 – A male called in stating he hasn’t been able to get ahold of his friend for four to five days. He would like an officer to go check on him then call back. The officer made contact with the individual of concern, he is fine and will call his friend.

1515 – A male called stating his brown Bronco is out of the Barrow Pit now but is still in the coulee as it has a flat tire. He will come tomorrow to get it.

1801 – A female called to report that her son’s residence was broken into. She has checked on the residence this morning at 1100 and later checked it at 1730 and the door where the lock is broke. She stated there are pills in the residence but said it doesn’t seem they have been tampered with. She believes her son’s dog probably scared the person off. Dispatch asked if the dog would be a problem for officers and the caller stated she would be on scene and put the dog on it’s chain. The son will also be back around 2000 or 2100. She was also not aware of any further damage to the residence.

Friday, March 11

0706 – A male called in to report a dark green wagon vehicle that has obviously hit a deer. He stated there is debris on the road from the vehicle, plastic pieces the vehicle is on the east side of the road and the deer is dead on the westside ditch. There is no one around the vehicle. An officer was notified.

1349 – A caller advised he just run off two guys that were on his property. He stated they were trespassing, they stated they were just looking for antlers. The caller stated he was not asked or anything for them to go on his property. The caller would like to talk to an officer.

1929 – An officer assisted a citizen. The citizen stated they have enough fuel for the vehicle now and is on their way.

2356 – A reporting party stated her sister ran out of gas and is at the Conoco Station. She is unsure if the sister has any money or just cash but can’t pump the gas. An officer arrived and spoke to the driver who has her dad coming to help.

Saturday, March 12

0110 – Per an officer, a vehicle is all smashed up. Checking to see if anyone is in it and take pictures.

1956 – A reporting party is requesting a welfare check on a female. She said she was talking to her and she was very intoxicated, making sort of veiled threats of ending it all. An officer advised who was unable to locate the female.

2210 – An officer is looking at a local party spot however there was no activity there. They went to check Paulo Reservoir Area as well.

2235 – A reporting party is requesting an officer. She thinks someone stole stuff out of her car but says they can’t look at the video. Per officer, a description of a male was provided.

Sunday, March 13

0124 – A reporting party reported his daughter’s car was left at the school since Thursday morning. When it was picked up tonight, the tank was empty and it smelled like marijuana. The reporting party thought he saw it at Holiday and was wondering about video from there or the school.

Monday, March 14

1236 – A wallet was found in a drive-thru that contained $1,500 work of counterfeit bills in it.

1527 – A caller reported that the neighbor’s dog tried to attach his wife about two days ago. His wife was almost bit. The caller stated this is the second time it has happened and the dog attacks others as well. An officer called him back.

2313 – RCSO 911 called and reported they received a 911 call from a male who said he was following what he described as a drunk driver. The caller did not provide any information on themselves nor on the vehicle before hanging up. RCSO tried calling back and the caller did not answer. At the time of the initial call, the vehicle was at the Roosevelt-Valley County line. At 0004, an officer advised was unable to locate the vehicle.

Tuesday, March 15

0011 – An officer reported someone is screaming, as in “fight,” screaming at the smoke shack by Alley’s Palace. An officer later advised he spoke to a couple of people who stated they were just playing around.
