Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
MSU-Extension – Valley County has rescheduled the Introduction to Beekeeping workshop for Saturday, April 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Interpretive Center, in Fort Peck. The workshop is free and open to anyone interested in beekeeping. Please RSVP to the Valley County Extension at 406-228-6241 or e-mail [email protected]. There will also be beekeeping/pollinator workshops throughout the summer and will hopefully have Dr. Michelle Flenniken in person in May to present her research.
In addition MSU-Extension Valley County will be hosting Peter Kolb on Tuesday, April 5, for a shelter belt and windbreak workshop. There will also be discussions on urban forestry in addition to a tree walk around Glasgow looking at tree problems or successes. Please meet at the Valley County Courthouse at 9 a.m., for some presentations and a question and answer session before taking the tree walk. Everyone is welcome and the workshop is free.
